What Can You Do?

Each year, an extraordinary combination of funders has enabled the Extra Mile–supported schools to not only survive, but flourish. Extra Mile is grateful for this support and proud of what it has enabled the schools and students to accomplish.

But past successes do not automatically guarantee future results.

The Extra Mile Education Foundation invites you to make the journey with these children – not put yourself in their shoes – but walk alongside them. Any demanding journey becomes easier when you know you’re not making it alone.


Donations/How to Give

Extra Mile Education Foundation relies solely on contributed funds in order to provide scholarships to the urban, Catholic elementary schools it supports. With support, urban children learn – both academically and morally – for the foundation of a well-lived life. Without such support, the schools would inevitably be closed.

Your philanthropic support can make you a part of this critically important enterprise. All gifts are tax deductible as allowed by law.

Gift opportunities include:

• Gifts and multi-year pledges of cash
• Gifts of appreciated assets (including securities and real estate)
• Insurance, annuity, and trust agreements
• Bequests

In addition, various gifts-in-kind, including supplies, equipment, professional services and volunteer assistance are welcome and encouraged.
